What are the Next Steps for 99ers in 2011?

Robert Gibbs recently spoke about creating jobs for people that are 99ers and that is fine. We still need to survive until those jobs are created. The 99ers need extended unemployment benefits so that we can pay our bills and buy food for our families. We would actually help the economy because that money would circulate immediately. The unemployment money would also create jobs faster than the tax cuts for the wealthy. For these reasons and others, bringing awareness around the plight of the 99ers in hopes of helping families avoid foreclosure. The benefits would also help us keep our families in homes with heat during the cold winter months. There are more than 5 million people with families all across the country with children to feed and are afraid every day. Based on the unemployment statistics, it is safe to say there are people in dire need now and can no longer go without income. People are looking for work but there are simply not enough job to fill the present needs of the unemployed. Should the 99ers need organize in a way the DADT advocates did by storming our congress and senator offices in Washington, DC?  Nevertheless, we will not be ignore anymore. It is time for our elected officials to step up to the plate and do the right thing.
