Are the politicians denying the 99ers out of fear that the rich will be upset if a tier 5 was created? Could fear of backlash from the wealthy be the key to why the 99ers are being denied? The constant pleas for help are just falling on deaf ears. Why? Many say 99 weeks is enough, but there was no improvement in the job market during that time period. In fact, over the last 99 weeks job creation did not keep up with job loses.
Could the next real battle in this country be class warfare? People believe the middle class is disappearing in this country. The republican's agenda seems to be cut programs for the poor and giving the money to the rich. The disparities are growing each and every day.
I firmly believe both political parties are fully aware of the 99ers. After countless emails, phone calls and faxes there is no way they are not aware of how many people are hurting out here. The lack of action by the politicians is cold and heartless. Both parties are now returning back to office after the holidays with the same disdain towards the 99ers. I sat and listened to countless politicians on the news channels and not one mentioned the 99ers. In fact, they did not even speak about unemployment or job creation. The main focus from the republicans is to investigate President Obama and repeal health care reform. Neither of those things will help the 99ers that are suffering on a regular basis. Where are the jobs?
Do the politicians even realize how rapid the 99ers are growing every single week in this country? Its 35,000 people a week. Do they understand the 99ers are not going anywhere? Their best efforts to ignore them will fail. It is time to face the music and deal with this mess that was created by the rich. When you kick millions off the payrolls, it will come back to bite you.
